The Norwegian Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NND) has been commissioned by the government to decommission the Norwegian nuclear activities. In strong competition with other established consulting companies, Advansia has won a framework agreement for "Administrative Assistance" to support NND with the extensive work. The team includes FRONT Leadership, BDO, Amesto People & Culture and Leidar.

The framework agreement covers five sub-areas, and FRONT Leadership and partners will deliver the following sub-areas within "Administrative assistance":
- Finance and accounting
- Business development and management /Organizational development
- Project employee
- HR
- Communication
The framework agreement per sub-area will have a duration of 2 years with an option for the client to extend the agreement by up to 1 + 1 year. The maximum duration of the framework agreement is 4 years.

Transition to more sustainable energy sources
Over the next 25 years, NND will decommission the Norwegian nuclear industry. The decommissioning will include decommissioning these facilities, handling spent fuel and all other radioactive waste produced in Norway. To do this, there will also be a need to build new facilities for handling and storage.
The Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) is currently the licensee and owner of the Norwegian nuclear facilities. In time, NND will take over IFE's license and ownership of the nuclear facilities. This means that both facilities and personnel will be transferred to NND's organization by 2024.
